What we build in this category

Tag-A-Long trailers connect to a standard rear hitch or pintle behind your truck's rear axle. They're the most popular choice for contractors, landscapers, rental companies, and equipment operators who move skid steers, mini excavators, small dozers, backhoes, and utility equipment between jobsites. Because a tag-a-long uses a standard hitch interface, it's easy to rotate between multiple trucks in a fleet — unlike a gooseneck, which requires a truck bed fitted for coupler connection.

When a tag-a-long is the right choice

Your loads are under 25,000 lb and won't grow beyond that
You need to swap the trailer between multiple trucks without modifying each one
You prefer a lower entry cost than a comparable gooseneck
Your loading setup works with standard ramps

If your loads are above 25,000 lb or you expect to haul above that within 24 months, look at our gooseneck trailers instead. If your equipment is tall or low-clearance and standard ramps are slow, look at our tilt trailers.
